DO YOU RESPECT YOURSELF?

When you lack discipline, it’s not just about missed deadlines, skipped workouts, or bad habits. It’s deeper.

It’s a sign you’re breaking your own trust. Ignoring your deeper desires. Turning away from the version of you you want to embody.

But when you do maintain discipline,
That’s the ultimate form of self-respect. It’s saying:

There’s no shortage of men out there claiming to do *men’s work*, but somewhere along the way, they find themselves talking down about men. Maybe it’s to gain favor, feel superior, or just to fit in with the crowd.

But is that what we need? Is it helping anyone?

We’re in an era where it’s more confusing than ever to be a man, to understand what’s expected, what’s wanted, and what’s truly needed. And tearing each other down only adds to that confusion.

If you’re truly doing the work, something becomes clear: you see the beauty in men. You appreciate men. You fall in love with what they bring, what they’re capable of, and the unique way they carry their burdens.

Yes, there are men who need a wake-up call. There are men who need a shake, a jolt, a reminder of their purpose and power. But if you give that call, make sure it’s given with love for men, not out of frustration or superiority.

we see it everywhere men and women that talk absolute shit about other men, men that go on about how their "brothers are not showing up and how men are sleeping and are behind, women belittling and portraying their partners as little boys.

most people today are operating with the belief - conscious or not, of "men are typically scum bags until proven otherwise".

what a sad world to live in.

and not one that makes it feel good to be a man.

the truth is

We live in a society that doesn't exactly celebrate actual men of integrity, maturity and attunement, and those type of men don't survive long or are welcomed in what we call "the patriarchy".

so what if we tried it the other way?

what if we saw the best in men,
what if we believed in their highest?
and that belief became the invitation that called men to their kinghood, became the cry that woke them up?

what if that was true?
would you give that a shot?

don't be a part of the problem,
stop putting men down,

open your eyes and see kings instead of baggers.

and by seeing that - elevate them to that standard.

WANT A LASTING RELATIONSHIP?

Then don't f**k with these 3 core principles:

1. Both of your Experiences Are Valid:
we tend to operate from a place where if your experience is valid - that must mean mine isn't and vice versa, then we try to make each other wrong or get defensive.
NEWS FLASH: Both of your experiences are valid, both perspectives can coexist, there are two people here, two nervous systems, two hearts.
the fact of what happened is usually objective - the experience of it is completely subjective.
if you want relationship where both of you to feel safe, seen and heard - you don't want to lose sight of this one...

2. Both of your needs equally matter:
Your needs matter as much as theirs. Their needs matter as much as yours.
Safety, respect, connection, space—all of it is important. True partnership honors both sides, recognizing that each person’s needs are essential and committing to trying to help them get met in that - is the culture you want to create.

3. Honor & respect - no matter what:
No trigger, no situation justifies disrespect and being intentionally hurtful. There’s a human being with a nervous system in front of you, that human being happens to be your partner who is choosing to entrust you with their heart - ACT ACCORDINGLY, you're not in kindergarten...
we both need some capacity to hold space for anger, sadness, hurt, but we don't get a right to intentionally inflict pain - f**k that - I want better for you.

These are the foundations, you don't f**k with the foundations...

You want to promote real healing, create real connection? It happens when we step out from behind what we know and simply be.

So go ahead give it a try, show up with everything you’ve learned, yet hold it loosely— but when the time comes, let go. And let your soul meet theirs.

Attention and presence are the currency of love. If your partner tracks you—your cycles, what you appreciate, how you feel cared for, the way you take your coffee—you feel the love, the care… THEY SEE YOU.

We tend to forget this simple truth, especially if we’ve been together for a while. Living together and losing ourselves in the grind of everyday life, chores, and responsibilities—we start taking each other for granted. We stop paying attention, and often, we lose presence.

And then we ask—what happened? Why are we not as attracted to each other? Or we ask any number of other things I hear from some of the couples I work with...

So let me break it down as simply as it gets:

If you want to make someone feel loved:
Pay attention to them and be present with them.

You can add any fancy tool or practice you like. But if you want the meal to taste good, you need these base ingredients.

The nice old lady exclaimed and her face was beaming.

20 strong men showed up on her hurricane-stricken land in Asheville NC, where nine generations of her family had lived.

"We are honored to be here" we said "tell us what you need."

we have spent the last 3 days in a men's retreat talking about values, purpose, presence and integrity, while practicing embodied men's work.

a teacher of mine once said "Meditation is the rehearsal - life is the actual show" meaning we practice also so we could meet life in a way that is more aligned, we practice in order to have the vision meet the ground.

going there and offer support to the people that have lost everything was that exact translation, taking the teachings from the practice hall and bringing it out into the world, to the ones in need - getting our hands dirty...

Ot is not enough to speak about "what a good man is", drawing diagrams on whiteboards can only get you so far...

And it would definitely not answer the cry and pain that undercurrents that question.

It's about getting out there and BEING a good man.

practicing, refining, clearing, healing and doing the work so that your way of being - is a gift, a service to this world, that the way you simply breath is the answer to that question...

Then you don’t need to say much... and if you do, the words become secondary.

There are louder forces in the room.

We need more teachers like that—who speak less and embody more, who humbly carry the teachings by the way they chop wood and carry water.

We need to rehab ourselves from the loud and shiny, so we have the eyes to see, the ears to hear, and the wisdom to recognize such teachers.

Big ideas and intricate worldviews are worth nothing if we don’t live by them and walk them in a good way.

Be that person—who walks in humbleness, like no one is looking.

Don’t explain your philosophy.

Embody it.

WE ALL KNOW IT.

What is actually YOURS?

The way I understand it, the true riches of life - They can’t be bought, and there’s no shortcut to attaining them.

They are earned—through consistency, discipline, and heart.

Through consistent practice and willingness to actually meet yourself.

To show up every day, push past the resistance, and honor yourself.
To learn to silence the noise, face your fears, and embrace stillness.
To be present, give, and love as fiercely & deeply as you can.

We think money is the end all - it isn't,
Money is great, it opens doors, but it's merely a tool.

At the end of the day, for the things that truly matter we all need to work for and cultivate ourselves,

We are all equal in the face of what matters, and no amount of money can change that.

Why would I drop everything and go to the desert for 3 weeks?

Why would I put my business on hold,
My life on pause, and shed blood, sweat, and tears - to build a city in the middle of nowhere that only exists for a week?

Because there’s nowhere like it on earth,

Because it’s the place where I meet the best of humanity.

Because it’s the place that gives me hope.

A place where people celebrate each other.
A place where everything is shared, and no one wants anything from you
A place where money isn't a thing!
A place where everything is art and is built to make you go “WOW!” and giggle.

A place that shows you, sometimes ruthlessly, who you truly are beneath all the masks.

A place that reminds you of the magnificence & importance of play, and potentially how serious you've become...

Many times we do very weird things to the people we love the most, in the name of our "Love".

We try to change them and mold them into who we think they should be. We criticize, manipulate, and push them away from their true self, thinking we know best.

DON'T FALL FOR THIS SELF-GROWTH TRAP!

"What is the point with all this self-growth work? putting all this time, energy and resources to become better?"

My client asked me this at the end of our session.

His question points to a Very important understanding that we all need to get very clear on:

We don't work on ourselves, practice, integrate, repatten, heal our childhood wounds, living in integrity, getting clear on our values and purpose (the list goes on) in order to get somewhere.

What would that somewhere be anyway?
A perfect me? A perfect life? Where I am always in alignment and never get triggered? Are we trying to reach a destination? Is there a destination?

That`s not the way i go about it, that doesn't make sense to me,

For me, it's about the now - always about the now.

I am integrating my shadows and healing my traumas because it feels true - NOW.
I am living on purpose and in service and doing my best to walk in integrity because it feels right to me - NOW.
I am doing this work because it makes sense to my soul - NOW.

There is no mountain peak I am trying to get to, no end product, just trying to enjoy the climb, breathe the air, and take in the view, to take every step with honor respect to the truth, moving in alignment to my depth and guidance.

I climb with people who are walking in the same direction, and if there are any of them who want to learn climbing in this way - I try to serve them the best I can.

The best thing about this way of climbing is that - in each moment,

If I die,

I know I died doing what I love, honoring my soul, walking in the direction of truth.

The fact that he is attracted to other women - is actually a good thing

I know this is controversial and I might get some heat for even saying this, but hear me out.

If he is activated, polarized and attracted to other feminine forms means that he is a healthy male at your side, embodied and feeling in his masculine pole, he is engaged, he is in his body, he is feeling, life is moving through him… and that is what you want.

Now think about the alternative - a man who is turned off, numb, not feeling himself, not activated or inspired by life, by you, or by any feminine form - is that what you want?

I bet not…

Furthermore - attraction is not a choice, polarity isn't done - it happens, its a law of the universe, and thats ok.

The question and the choice comes with what does he do with that activation - does he breathe that in, brings that aliveness to you, to your relationship, does he channel it into his work and life`s purpose, or does he get shadowy and leaky and out of integrity and spills it all around letting it run him and his actions - that's what you want to pay attention to…
